Join Our Crisis Center Team

Nurse

Our behavioral health-focused Nurses work dynamically across our levels of care to provide evidence-based interventions that resolve mental health crises and help our patients get back on a path toward hope and healing. Our Nurses:

  • Complete assessments to support a high level of patient care
  • Manage medication based on patient needs to support individualized care plans
  • Use clinical judgment to provide evidence-based interventions for the physical, emotional, and medical needs of patients
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary training opportunities as a part of our integrated training curriculum for a broad array of clinical trainees
  • Collaborate with administrators and researchers on continuous care improvement initiatives to push care forward

Psych Technician

Our Psych Techs work dynamically across our levels of care to provide support during mental health crisis and help our patients get back on a path toward hope and healing. Our Psych Techs:

  • Provide hands-on, in-person, direct patient care through therapeutic dialogue while maintaining a safe environment
  • Process patient admission and patient discharges while creating and maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Work closely with the clinical team to maintain a high level of patient care and safety
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary training opportunities as a part of our integrated training curriculum for a broad array of clinical trainees

Hospital Crisis Response Worker

Our Hospital Crisis Response Worker roles work dynamically across our levels of care to provide evidence-based interventions that resolve mental health crises. These interventions focus on identifying and resolving social determinants of health challenges that have typically been outside the realm of healthcare-based interventions. Our response workers:

  • Assess patient social determinants of health needs to inform individualized psychosocial stressor resolution plans
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, under the supervision of master-level clinicians, to assess and reduce patient risk through safety planning interventions for those with low to moderate risk
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary training opportunities as a part of our integrated training curriculum for a broad array of clinical trainees
  • Collaborate with administrators and researchers on continuous care improvement initiatives to push care forward.

Social Work

Our Social Workers work dynamically across our levels of care to provide evidence-based interventions that resolve mental health crises and help our patients get back on a path toward hope and healing. Our therapists:

  • Assess patient needs to inform individualized care plans and pathways
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including single-session, short-term multi-session solution-focused interventions, and traditional outpatient interventions
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary training opportunities as a part of our integrated training curriculum for a broad array of clinical trainees
  • Collaborate with administrators and researchers on continuous care improvement initiatives to push care forward

Our New Crisis Care Center

Our state-of-the-art facility will provide comprehensive mental health crisis services, uniting critical care and community resources in one convenient, accessible location. The Crisis Center is designed to offer a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for patients and their families as they embark on the journey to mental wellness.

When the Crisis Care Center opens, the center's comprehensive behavioral and mental health crisis services will include:
