Meet Our Hospitals and Clinics Team

photo of becca

My name is Becca (with the dark hair). I’ve been in recruiting for more than 12 years and was so excited to be able to join the Talent Acquisition team at U of U Health! Being able to change lives for the better, the way mine has been, is awesome! Working with such a diverse and supportive group of people makes coming to work extremely easy.

I am the recruiter for clinical nurses, phlebotomists, endoscopy technicians, and neuropsychology technicians. I’m excited to be able to work with these departments and hopefully help a lot of people land their dream job!

I was born and raised in Northern Utah. I’m married and have three beautiful kids, who are always on the go. They play a lot of sports, which keeps us extremely busy. I am a huge sports fan, with NFL being my favorite season of the year. You’ll also find me tailgating at the Ute’s games during the football season. Go Utes!!

Now it’s your turn to tell me about yourself. Please take a moment to introduce yourself.

Hi! I’m Cam, the recruiter for Perioperative Nursing (OR, PACU, Short-Stay), Social Work and Spiritual Care, and Pharmacy. I have been with University of Utah Health Hospitals and Clinics for 3+ years. I love how our hospitals and clinics provide such a welcoming, diverse environment and I feel so lucky to work for a healthcare system that cares so much for its employees. I’m especially proud of being able to partner with such amazing people in our pharmacy, surgical services, and mental health areas. The amount of passion and dedication they put into the care of our patients is inspiring.

I have lived in Utah my entire life, and honestly, there is nowhere else I’d rather be. The Salt Lake City lifestyle is so balanced and offers something for everyone. Whether you like the outdoors, restaurants and bars, skiing, or arts and culture, there’s always plenty to do.

If you’d like to start your future with University of Utah Health, take a moment to take a moment to introduce yourself!

My favorite part of recruiting is listening to a candidate’s story and finding a great work opportunity to help make their interests, goals, and dreams a reality while adding value to patients and my organization. Being able to support this in a healthcare environment is very rewarding as the work being done makes a difference in people's lives. I am a very proud grandmother of three young grandboys and a recent surprise transplant from the Pacific Northwest. I was told a few months ago that my family was moving to Utah and that the 3rd grandbaby was going to be born early 2020 (he has arrived!) On a trip to visit them in Utah, I fell in love with the majestic snow-capped mountains and the stunning desert of Moab and decided to follow my family here. We now live in a home that was designed for multigenerational living that gives the whole family the opportunity to thrive and support each other while maintaining separation of space. We have found Utahns to be warm and friendly and very family-oriented and are having a great time exploring the many indoor and outdoor activities Utah has to offer. I have worked in healthcare recruitment for many years and I am now thrilled now to be part of the University of Utah Health’s Talent Acquisition/Recruitment team. I am currently supporting all modalities of Radiology as well as Patient Relation Specialist positions. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and tell us your story!

I have the privilege to recruit for the Sleep Wake Center, Pulmonary/Respiratory care, Outreach team, and Rehabilitation. The reason I came to University of Utah Heath and what I love about being here are one in the same—the reputation for patient care. It is a passion and a continuous driving force. We are truly second to none. The team work mentality is phenomenal, and the work life balance is a strong part of the culture here.

University of Utah Health Hospital and its location near the most amazing outdoor adventures is remarkable, whether it is skiing, hiking, fishing, golf, mountain biking, national parks (Google it), entertainment, the list goes on and on… oh and no humidity.

Now it is your turn, invest a few minutes to introduce yourself. This is a wonderful opportunity to share about your passions and interests. It gives you the opportunity to elaborate and present to us what is important to you and why you see yourself as part of the wonderful culture and team that is The University of Utah Health.

Hey! I’m Justin, a recruiter for the University of Utah Health. My responsibilities include recruiting in Women’s and Children’s, Cardiology and Cath Lab, Case Management, Nursing Capacity, Transplant, Facilities and Engineering, Valet, Supply Chain, Patient Transport and Dietitians. What I love about working with the Talent Acquisition team is meeting new people from different paths in their career. I love to find people their perfect placement in our organization. You get to meet people from all walks of life. There is such a vast diversity of people here at the University of Utah Health.

I spent the last 12 years in the United States Army Field Artillery. Knowing that at some point my military career would end, I sought out for something that would extend into the civilian world. This began my work into Human Resources. Once honorably discharged from the United States Army, I looked to start my new career with a respectable company. That is when I applied and was hired at U of U Health. I am so proud that I am a part of this organization.

We’re very excited to get to know all about you. We would love to have you be a part of the University of Utah Health family.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the Recruiter for Health Care Assistants at University of Utah Health. I love being able to find the right fit for a candidate and get them started in their new adventure!

Back when I was joining the Talent Acquisition team at U of U Health Hospitals and Clinics, I was very excited to be a part of an organization with such a great reputation. I started my career in the hospitality industry and found out quickly that I love working with people. I made the decision to follow the HR route and ended up here at U of U Health where people are their top priority!

I am a Utah native and can’t think of a better way to enjoy the Beehive state than to be a part of this amazing organization. I have recently graduated from the David Eccles School of Business within University of Utah and loved every moment.

In my extra time, I love to travel with my husband and teach ballet to kids of all ages around the Utah Valley. This has made it so exciting to take on the Health Care Assistants as I use my connections to be able to be a resource for these kids in their futures.

We are so excited to get to know you and see what you can bring to the table! University of Utah Health is such a great organization with a great team dynamic!
