I started back in 2010 with University of Utah Health in a customer service position as I was going to school. Once I graduated from the U of U, I was ready to take on new opportunities and found my way to HR. I feel I am a testament of the opportunity for career growth and development at U of U Health. I encourage you to take your first step toward opportunity, growth, and career fulfillment by submitting your “Introduce Yourself” video.
My name is Becca (with the dark hair). I’ve been in recruiting for more than 12 years and was so excited to be able to join the Talent Acquisition team at U of U Health! I was born and raised in Northern Utah. I’m married and have three beautiful kids, who are always on the go. They play a lot of sports, which keeps us extremely busy. I am a huge sports fan, with NFL being my favorite season of the year. You’ll also find me tailgating at the Ute’s games during the football season. Go Utes!!
Now it’s your turn to tell me about yourself. Please take a moment to introduce yourself.
I am excited to start my Human Resources career with University of Utah Health Hospitals and Clinics. I graduated with a bachelors in Psychology from BYU-Idaho. My family bleeds blue, but I have found that my blood, like yours, is red. I am from Washington, so being in the valley with the beautiful mountains reminds me of my home. Outdoor recreation and sporting activities are my bread and butter.
I enjoy helping people feel important and needed. As the Human Resource Associate for the Talent Acquisition department, I specialize in the onboarding process assuring a slick transition from a job offer to the first day of new employee orientation. Here at the U of U Health, I feel like I make a difference. Please take a moment to introduce yourself.
I am a recruiter for the departments of Perioperative Nursing (OR, PACU, Short-Stay), Social Work, Chaplains, and Pharmacy. U of U Health is such a welcoming, diverse environment and I’m so happy to be part of it. I grew up in Utah and there’s honestly nowhere else I’d rather be. Utah has so many beautiful, unique destinations nearby, it’s amazing being in the middle of it. If you’d like to join the team at U of U Health, take a moment to introduce yourself!
My favorite part of recruiting is listening to a candidate’s story and finding a great work opportunity to help make their interests, goals, and dreams a reality while adding value to patients and my organization. Being able to support this in a healthcare environment is very rewarding as the work being done makes a difference in people's lives. I am a very proud grandmother of three young grandboys and a recent surprise transplant from the Pacific Northwest. I was told a few months ago that my family was moving to Utah and that the 3rd grandbaby was going to be born early 2020 (he has arrived!) On a trip to visit them in Utah, I fell in love with the majestic snow-capped mountains and the stunning desert of Moab and decided to follow my family here. We now live in a home that was designed for multigenerational living that gives the whole family the opportunity to thrive and support each other while maintaining separation of space. We have found Utahns to be warm and friendly and very family-oriented and are having a great time exploring the many indoor and outdoor activities Utah has to offer. I have worked in healthcare recruitment for many years and I am now thrilled now to be part of the University of Utah Health’s Talent Acquisition/Recruitment team. I am currently supporting all modalities of Radiology as well as Patient Relation Specialist positions. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and tell us your story!
I have the privilege to recruit for the Sleep Wake Center, Pulmonary/Respiratory care, Outreach team, and Rehabilitation. The reason I came to University of Utah Heath and what I love about being here are one in the same—the reputation for patient care. It is a passion and a continuous driving force. We are truly second to none. The team work mentality is phenomenal, and the work life balance is a strong part of the culture here.
University of Utah Health Hospital and its location near the most amazing outdoor adventures is remarkable, whether it is skiing, hiking, fishing, golf, mountain biking, national parks (Google it), entertainment, the list goes on and on… oh and no humidity.

It gives you the opportunity to elaborate and present to us what is important to you and why you see yourself as part of the wonderful culture and team that is The University of Utah Health.

I spent the last 12 years in the United States Army Field Artillery. Knowing that at some point my military career would end, I sought out for something that would extend into the civilian world. This began my work into Human Resources. Once honorably discharged from the United States Army, I looked to start my new career with a respectable company. That is when I applied and was hired at U of U Health. I am so proud that I am a part of this organization.
We’re very excited to get to know all about you. We would love to have you be a part of the University of Utah Health family.

Second to my children, I find great joy in introducing people to the opportunities within this organization because it lights a fire in me. Seriously; connecting with YOU is my thing and I use my creative strategies to do just that! I can't wait to meet you or connect. Please take a moment to introduce yourself.
