Hi! My name is Anjelica, but most people know me as Jelly. Originally from the coast of northern California, I love the ocean and will always look for a reason to take a vacation to a beach. However, I have found myself happily landlocked in the beautiful Uinta Mountains for the last 15 years. Autumn is my favorite season, not because of the pumpkin spice lattes, but because the hiking is magical when the trees start to turn vibrant shades of red and orange. My family and I are always up for an outdoor adventure.

I recently joined the team as a nursing recruiter for U of U Health’s ICU and Acute Care Units. I love witnessing the impact that our employees have on patient care and the relationships built with each department.

My name is Becca (with the dark hair). I’ve been in recruiting for more than 12 years and was so excited to be able to join the Talent Acquisition team at U of U Health! Being able to change lives for the better, the way mine has been, is awesome! Working with such a diverse and supportive group of people makes coming to work extremely easy.

I am the recruiter for Ancillary Nursing (Perioperative, HMHI, Rehab, Ortho, HCH). I’m excited to be able to work with these departments and hopefully help a lot of people land their dream jobs!

I was born and raised in Northern Utah. I’m married and have three beautiful kids, who are always on the go. They play a lot of sports, which keeps us extremely busy. I am a huge sports fan, with NFL being my favorite season of the year. You’ll also find me tailgating at the Ute’s games during the football season. Go Utes!!

I have the privilege of recruiting for the Surgical Technicians, Sleep-Wake Center, Pulmonary/Respiratory care, Outreach team, and Rehabilitation. The reason I came to University of Utah Heath and what I love about being here is the same—the reputation for patient care. It is a passion and a continuous driving force. Born and raised as a Southern California native, I ventured to beautiful Salt Lake City in 2014 to pursue my bachelor’s degree. As a proud University of Utah graduate, I eared by B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition in 2019. Diving into the world of administration back in 2016, I honed in on HR. Hi! My name is Nicole and I am the recruiter for Health Care Assistants & Health Unit Coordinators for U of U Health. I have been working in healthcare for most of my career but am fairly new to the HR world. I started my career as a young, CNA, fresh out of high school and worked my way up the assisted living ladder. When I became an administrator of an assisted living, I quickly realized that hiring and finding passionate individuals for positions is my true calling. I feel very grateful to have found my niche with such an incredible organization.

I grew up in the Ogden area and graduated with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration in 2021 from Weber State. Hello, I’m Dominique, one of the Talent Acquisition Specialists on the team. I assist the recruiters in screening potential new hires identified, passing them along throughout the hiring process, and initiating their onboarding before New Employee Orientation.

Coming from a southern family, I have always had a love of cooking. Before I started with University of Utah Health, I have been running my own pie business for a little over two years called Pies the Limit. What started as a hobby became something I envisioned leaving my future children one day to help build their legacy. When I'm not working or baking, I enjoy hiking and fishing at my favorite watering hole, Strawberry Reservoir. I am also expecting the birth of my firstborn child here in April.

Heather

Ahoy! I’m Heather, one of the Internal Transfer Specialists on our team. I was originally born in the Salt Lake Valley but I was raised in Montana. Utah has always been home to me—I love the growth opportunity and the perfect mix of city and nature. Shortly after moving to Utah, I bought a white Jeep Wrangler JK. I love her with all my heart. I have made so many fellow Jeep friends and love to go on trails. I have a couple of Badges of Honor from Jeep and frequently venture south to hit the rocks.

In addition to working for the University of Utah Health Hospitals and Clinics, I also work as a Community Manager for Yelp. I help manage their social media, plan local events with local businesses, and of course, post about my experiences on Yelp. I enjoy traveling and eating lots of good food (especially if it has ranch on it). I am also a real estate agent with Better Homes and Gardens Momentum. I love their fun culture and the people I get to interact with. Both on a professional level and a personal level, I enjoy learning new things, making people laugh, and connecting with people.

Hello! I am Sandra, the HR Communications Specialist for the U of U Health Hospitals and Clinics Talent Acquisitions team. In my role, I am responsible for managing our organization's recruitment-focused social media accounts, creating and editing videos that showcase our staff and teams, and assisting with advertising events and career fairs.

Before moving to U of U Health in 2017, I started my career in TV news and sports broadcasting. I also have experience in Public Relations at a children’s hospital in Utah. I love that my job allows me to be creative while also helping people find new career opportunities.

One of the things I appreciate about U of U Health is the organization's emphasis on promoting a healthy work-life balance for employees. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children.
