Job Summary

Designs, develops, tests, implements, troubleshoots, debugs, and provides general maintenance and continuous development of software packages for the College of Engineering’s web systems. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the web development field (i.e., SQL , PHP , HTML , CSS and JavaScript). You may also design, develop, and maintain departmental, faculty, lab and research web sites (mostly WordPress) within the College of Engineering, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). 2 years of experience in web software development or related area.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Masters of Software Development is preferred.
