Job Summary

The Interactive Marketing and Web team, part of the Health Sciences Communications and Marketing Department, is looking for an assistant to the web content and development team. The team manages external websites working with multiple clients throughout the health sciences.

Right now the team is working on a migration into a new content management system. The majority of the intern’s work will be focused reviewing content migration for accuracy, inventorying web properties, and building and reworking in pages in Drupal as requested.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Edit and update websites as requested.
  • QA migrated webpages.
  • Support the webmaster as requested (academic webmaster trainings or support)
  • Inventorying sites as requested.

  • Able to pivot projects as necessary.
  • Attendance at regular team standup meetings.
  • Ability to work flexibly and remotely.
  • Interest in learning new platforms and tools.
  • Willingness to do meticulous and detailed work.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

Preferences

  • Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress or something similar
  • Experience in maintaining websites
  • Customer service experience
