Job Summary

The university’s General Stores is searching for a qualified individual for their Delivery Driver 2 position and is hiring immediately.


Operates a variety of vehicles including: forklifts and a variety of other equipment. Transports and delivers items (hazardous material, equipment and supplies). Performs maintenance service on equipment as necessary to facilitate its continued operation. Inspects equipment daily for damage, equipment failures, and safety items to ensure the safe use of the equipment while performing assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Six months experience operating commercial motor vehicles (over 26,000 lbs.GVW); a valid Utah Commercial Drivers License class A or B; an airbrake license; Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card; proof of insurability; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Ability to pass a drug /alcohol test required. During employment, must submit to random drug & alcohol testing. Dependent upon department of hire one or more of the following endorsements may be required:HAZMET, Tanker, Passenger. The ability to move heavy objects (up to 100 lbs.) may be required. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.
