Job Summary

The student will perform non-technical procedures in a research laboratory and maintain laboratory facilities, equipment and records. June Round Lab in the Department of Pathology: http://labs.path.utah.edu/round/

Responsibilities

1. Maintain the physical environment of the lab.

2. Prepare facility for daily use.

3. May file and maintain research records and logs of research data.

4. May wash and clean cages, handle and treat animals, and prepare special diets for animals used in research.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferences

This job will entail bacterial and/or fungal culture, processing of animal tissues, standard maintenance of the laboratory setting. Prior experience is not required but the applicant should be comfortable working in a laboratory that handles these things.
