Job Summary

An entry level university student position.

Provides customer service and assists faculty and students with Canvas. Provides proctoring and patron support and monitoring for the online proctored exam services.

Responsibilities

• Check students in and out of the center for taking exams.

• Perform all proctor duties in the examination lab.

• Receive incoming Zendesk tickets, respond or properly assign.

• Receive incoming service desk calls. help or properly assign.

• Handle and properly file all paper based exams used in the lab.

• Process paper exams for instructor pick up.

• Check and use the information in the UCR .

• Clean lab computers, tables, chair and floor.

• Receive all student walk-ins, help or properly assign.

• Basic level 1 Canvas consultation support for walk-ins and appointments.

• Assist Instructional Design team when requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a University of Utah student to apply.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

Computer proficiency with internet services, Canvas class delivery system, and Windows and Mac operating systems preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred.
