Job Summary

sUdo (Student University Development Opportunity) is a program designed to give U students real world work experience through paid internships with various teams within University of Utah Information Technology ( UIT ). The program focuses on mentoring and providing a hands-on experience within an enterprise environment; unlike any other student employee program at the University of Utah. More information about the program can be found at: sudo.utah.edu

This posting is a general application for the program. All applicants to this job posting will have the opportunity to schedule a first round interview, in which a Student Lead will assess your interests and strengths, with the goal of matching you to an open position on one of our teams. If/When a position is available that matches an applicant’s interests and experience, they will be invited to participate in a second-round interview with the team’s mentor. For information on the teams sUdo works with, please see below.

Students in the program are asked to work between 15 and 19 hours weekly during Fall and Spring semesters, although there may be potential to work up to 40 hours weekly during the summer, as well as Fall and Spring breaks. sUdo internships are not semester based, so most positions can continue until a student graduates. Starting pay ranges from $12/hr. to $14.51/hr. depending on team. If you have any questions, a student lead can help address them during your first or second round interview.
