Job Summary

In conjunction with the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and the Director of Humanities Scholars, the Undergraduate Affairs Graduate Assistant will provide support to the Humanities Scholars program including Humanities Scholars Ambassadors, and assist in related outreach and event programming.

•The Humanities Scholars Graduate Assistantship is a two-year term available to Ph.D. candidates in the College of Humanities.

•The Humanities Scholars Graduate Assistant shall receive a stipend of $15K per year.


•Plan and co-lead Humanities Scholars Orientation August 14-17 at the Taft-Nicholson Environmental Humanities Center in Lakeview, Montana.

•Coordinate Humanities Scholars Ambassadors program.

•Coordinate high school outreach efforts to prospective students.

•Liaison to Office of Admissions.

•Assist with Humanities Scholars seminar and related events.

•Research assistance as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

•Applicants must be a current Ph.D. candidate in the College of Humanities who have completed their qualifying exams and areABD.

•Demonstrated history of leadership and professional involvement in the Humanities

•Commitment to student success

•Detail oriented
