Job Summary

Conduct training for School of Dentistry staff, students and faculty in clinical operations. Provide support to users and evaluate staff skills using a structured system. Provide follow up training tailored to individual needs. Monitor the effectiveness of the training program.

Form positive and productive relationships with staff, students and faculty to support the mission, vision, values, and PROMISE standards of the organization. Essential Functions

1. Conducts clinical staff training and ensures users are proficient in EPIC .

2. Formulates teaching objectives in conformance with selected instructional methods such as individual coaching, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.

3. Assists in the creation or updating of training materials.

4. Identifies and assesses employee skill level and training needs.

5. Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and provides meaningful feedback to curriculum developers and managers.

6. Focuses efforts on aligning with the School of Dentistry’s core mission to educate excellent dentists, lead oral health discovery and innovation, and make a meaningful impact on the health of the underserved throughout the state of Utah.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically requires:

Nearly Continuously: Office environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years experience in a training or customer support capacity. Demonstrated computer, organization, human relation and effective verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to manage time and work independently.
