Works with the Environmental Health and Safety and Emergency Management Department in some or all of the following capacities:
Fire division: testing and maintenance of extinguishers, fire alarm and fire supressions systems.
Occupational Health and Hygiene Division: Conducts testing of emergency shower and eye wash systems, data entry, spill kit assembly and assists with field work.
Administrative division: various clerical, phone support and data entry activities as office assistant.
Emergency Management division: promotion, outreach, marketing and logistics support for Campus Alert (fall semester) and ShakeOut (spring semester).
Applicant must be a University of Utah Student
Responsible for fulfilling all assigned duties in a timely manner and arriving on time at scheduled shifts.
Students with a current Work-Study award are preferred. Work-Study award status may be viewed throughCISon the Financial Aid Status page.
Students with a background in Health Promotion and Education, Environmental Studies or Emergency Management preferred.
