Job Summary

Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity (may include Systems Administrator II, Exchange Systems Administrator, Microsoft Systems Administrator, andUNIXSystems Administrator).Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Responsibilities

Administrates and assists IT Manager in managing garden’s enterprise management system, website, hardware inventory, software licenses, IT support, security, user management, data backups, and information systems.

Researches, oversees, administrates, and deploys software updates, patches, scripts, and licenses.

Monitors computers and information systems to ensure security and data integrity of systems.

Executes projects on behalf of IT Manager.

Performs operations and systems analysis.

Administrates architecture and access of company website.

Creates tutorials and documentation for garden users and IT department.

Identify and convert traditional record keeping processes to digital.

Support technology systems during major events

Provides IT support when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

3+ years of experience managing IT systems preferred

3+ years of direct customer service, and/or 2+ years of direct IT support experience preferred

2+ years of demonstrated experience withHTML,CSS, and JavaScript preferred

3+ years of demonstrated experience with enterprise management preferred

Experience administrating and supporting Windows and macOS systems preferred

Computer hardware knowledge and support preferred

Basic familiarity with modern computer networking (TCP/IP-OSI,DHCP,DNS, etc.) Experience using FileWave preferred

Experience using Jekyll,AWS, Git, or other website content management systems preferred

Experience writing and deploying bash scripts preferred

Familiarity with Linux preferred

Experience with data systems and analysis preferred

Previous experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager preferred

Ability to work Sundays through Thursdays preferred
