Work Schedule Summary

Student employees are required to work three shifts a week and commit to those shifts for the semester. All work is in-person and cannot be done in a remote environment.

Weekdays 12 – 4p.m.

Monday – Thursday 5 – 9 p.m.

Fridays 12 – 5 p.m.

Job Summary

The Student Philanthropy & Engagement Center is a large group of students who come together to advance the U through engagement and philanthropy from the school’s alumni, parents, and friends. Students make out bound phone calls to spread university updates, share student experiences, and ask for a philanthropic gift back to the university. We are currently hiring for the Fall 2021 semester.

This position is considered Category I: Mandatory and required on campus or health care facilities to support on-site operations. Employees hired into this category will be required to be physically located at the University of Utah Campus if they are healthy and without COVID -19 symptoms.

Meet other students from all over campus and learn about the University! There are incentives and team games for every shift.

Responsibilities

Making outbound phone calls and representing the university in a positive light. Holding conversations with a diverse audience and working together to build a better U through engagement with Alumni, the community, and through fundraising efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

No majors or preferred degree types. No experience or resumes needed.

Come build real world work experience as you sharpen skills such as building relationships, negotiating, and effective communication.
