Job Summary

Great work-study position that utilizes both technical and clerical office skills to assist with the provision of accommodations is available at the Center for Disability & Access. We are seeking a responsible individual to help with exams and the day-today operations of the office. The work schedule is flexible, between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position is ideal if you are majoring in any social or behavioral science related field, including Psychology and Social Work

Responsibilities

1. Receives, greets and directs visitors to appropriate person or office.

2. Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers to the correct person or office.

3. Processes and distributes mail.

4. Creates and maintains files.

5. Schedules appointments and arranges for meetings.

6. Answers questions about the organization and associated activities.

7. Assists with word processing, data entry and internet searches.

8. Maintains office equipment; arranges for service calls as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
