Job Summary

The Center for Disability Services is recruiting for a part-time Sign Language Interpreter. This position would provide interpreting services for University classes, lectures, meetings, and other campus events. Services are provided to undergraduate and graduate students on campus.

Hours per week varies by semester.

Responsibilities

Provide Sign Language Interpretation (ASL) for University classes, lectures, meetings, and other campus events.

Minimum Qualifications

Required qualifications:

-Utah State ProfessionalASLcertification or equivalent (NADorNIC)

-Knowledge and commitment to apply theNAD-RIDCode of Professional Conduct

Preferences

Preferred qualifications:

-Associates Degree in Interpreting Sign Language (ASL) or related degree

-At least two years experience as an educational interpreter, preferably in a post secondary setting
