The Center for Disability Services is recruiting for a part-time Sign Language Interpreter. This position would provide interpreting services for University classes, lectures, meetings, and other campus events. Services are provided to undergraduate and graduate students on campus.
Hours per week varies by semester.
Provide Sign Language Interpretation ( ASL ) for University classes, lectures, meetings, and other campus events.
-Utah State Professional ASL certification or equivalent ( NAD or NIC )
-Knowledge and commitment to apply the NAD - RID Code of Professional Conduct
-Associates Degree in Interpreting Sign Language ( ASL ) or related degree
-At least two years experience as an educational interpreter, preferably in a post secondary setting
