This position will design, produce and install all types of high quality signage including, but not limited to, interior signs, window graphics, wall murals, posters, directional signs, and banners. This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Meets and professionally collaborates with department heads, administration, design committees, and individual customers to recommend solutions for problem areas and provide the most efficient information needed to set signage standards.

  • Fabricates and installs all types of signage including interior/exterior, wide format murals, engraving, vinyl/print applications, cut/weed/mask/apply to substrates, wood, metal, paint, window vehicle graphics, holiday & special event props/decorations, etc.

  • Performs other assigned duties necessary to complete projects.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.

  • Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner according to the organizational PROMISE standards.

  • Ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time and perform some heavy lifting.

  • Ability to retrieve, carry and load various types of substrates, up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to be professional, punctual, demonstrate good communication skills, and possess a positive attitude.

  • Demonstrated computer, organization, human relations, and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

  • Two years of experience in graphic design.

  • Comprehensive knowledge with Adobe Illustrator, ONYX software, and similar design programs.

  • Valid Utah Driver's License.

  • High School diploma, or equivalency.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

  • One year of experience within a sign shop environment with various shop tools.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.

  • This position involves very physical work that may exert up to 50 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects. The position may involve moving heavy equipment and/or supplies. This position may involve exposure to certain hazardous conditions and situations such as explosive and flammable paints, thinners, and work on tall ladders or high scaffolding.
