The Senior Director position provides operational and financial leadership for the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as provides operational and financial support for the Rehabilitation Hospital.

Primary responsibilities include the day to day business operations oversight for the department and operational support in finance and budget for the rehabilitation hospital. The incumbent is ultimately responsible for the operations, strategic planning, human resource, and financial management functions of the assigned area in the department and will include oversight and direct reports with business functions in the rehabilitation hospital.

In addition to leading and improving physician practice, operations, inpatient medicine & rehabilitation services, and financial strength, the Senior Director of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Hospital will also oversee planning, the transfer of operations, and opening of the new University of Utah Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Winter 2019.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, clinical field or related area, or equivalency.

  • Eight years of progressively more responsible management experience.
