Job Summary
The School Programs Assistant position helps staff members with day-to-day tasks associated with programming, mainly the Teaching Toolbox program. This position provides general office support, such as data entry, inventorying, copying, etc. Working with the Teaching Toolbox Program often includes physically moving the large toolbox kits around NHMU . The School Program Assistant also supports museum educators by acting as an assistant with field trip programming or class programming.

Responsibilities
The School Programs Assistant,
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Must be able to manage/move program supplies weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the building.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
One-year full-time customer service experience, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
