Job Summary
University Medical Billing ( UMB ) is a fully remote department that is viewed as the premier billing office for the University of Utah School of Medicine, serving over 1800 providers and 30 different specialties across Utah and surrounding states. We are looking for an experienced billing professional to join our leadership team. As the Revenue Integration Manager , you will be responsible for the management of authorizations, registrations, professional charging, reconciliation processes, and denials. Under minimal supervision, you will plan, organize, direct and/or control all aspects pertaining to front end revenue cycle functions. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures, recommend changes when necessary, assist in implementation of new processes, and act as a supportive and creative catalyst between the department and its customers and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.
Compensation & Benefits
The stating salary for this position is $75,000-$100,000/yr, depending on experience. Members of UMB are eligible for a bonus based on department performance. Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of assigned department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department.
Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
