Customer service position in the Textbook Department involving computer work, stocking and shelving books, processing special orders, and other duties as assigned.

Seasonal staff that complete assignment will receive a bonus at end of assignment
Providing outstanding customer service to Faculty, Staff, Students and the General Public. Other duties include, but not limited to stocking incoming textbooks correctly on to the sales floor, returning textbooks to publishers and picks and packs selected textbooks to be returned.

Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required
Nearly Continuously: walking, hearing, listening, talking.
Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), sitting.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead, lifting (up to 50 pounds).
This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience.
Familiarity with computers and previous customer service and/or book sales experience preferred.
