Job Summary

Using genomic and transcriptomic approaches, our lab has discovered novel genes, miRNAs and gene variants associated with human platelet number and function. A position is available for candidates to characterize these gene variants in mouse models and cell lines.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow scientifically and work with a dynamic group of investigators studying important and exciting aspects of vascular thrombosis and bleeding.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

PhD with at least 5 years basic research experience, and the ability to problem-solve and work independently.

The candidate must have experience with molecular and cellular biology,RNAwork, mouse genetics and flow cytometry.

Preferences

A background inCRISPR-Cas technology or computational analysis of large data sets would be viewed favorably.
