Job Summary

Organizes visits to community-based outpatient clinics across the state of Utah. The work involves acting as a liaison to communicate with clinic staff, schedule visits, and conduct orientation meetings. In addition, the candidate will help organize data collection, monitor data quality, and ensure adequate storage of data. Assisting the Principal Investigator in general activities to accomplish study objectives will also be involved.

Responsibilities

1.Oversees coordination of study team visits to clinical site around the state of Utah, completion and submission of studyIRBrelated documentation; prepares reports for organizations and agencies.

2.Monitors enrollment goals and initiates strategies to promote enrollment screening and recruiting subjects, scheduling visits, obtaining informed consent, answering subject inquiries, overseeing study visits and acting as a liaison between participants and study-related parties.

3.Prepares, submits and maintainsIRBdocuments.

4.Assists the Principal Investigator in the development of study protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a health science or related field. Nursing or Biomedical informatic degree preferred Some professional research experience, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Knowledge ofHIPAAandIRBregulations; an understanding of research procedures; and the ability to function independently is preferred.
