Oversees the procedural matters for the National Center for Veterans Studies and the Department of Psychology related to a 3-year funded project by The Boeing Company. Provides administrative support to senior department personnel.
The primary aims of this project are to provide empirically supported treatments to service members and veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and training licensed mental health professionals in crisis response planning for suicide prevention.
Primary duties of the research associate/project coordinator will include scheduling project-related activities and meetings, coordinating with project partners and collaborators, interfacing with service members and veterans, coordinating assessment interviews, obtaining informed consent, tracking project participants, scheduling and coordinating regular staff meetings, and assisting with regulatory and sponsor reports. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or another related health discipline. Additionally, ideal candidates will have previous experience in mental healthcare settings and administrative responsibilities.
