The University of Utah School of Dentistry ( UUSOD ) is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental school. Applications are being accepted for a career line position at the instructor level.

Qualified candidates must have completed a CODA accredited dental hygiene program and have a Bachelor’s Degree in dental hygiene. The successful applicant must be eligible for a registered dental hygienist license in the state of Utah. Experience with dental education is desirable, but not necessary.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) didactic and clinical periodontal education and mentoring students in the predoctoral program. Opportunities exist to develop curricula to meet the needs of today’s contemporary predoctoral dental student. Evidence-based dental care is integral to all of our programs.

This position will work collaboratively with members of the Periodontal Section of the UUSOD . Candidates must have the skills, capacities and interest to educate and train an exceptionally talented group of students in a university environment that thrives on innovation and is committed to leading the nation in the transformation of health care.
