Job Summary

Supports administrative operations and coordination of human subjects research studies. Assists Study Coordinators and Clinical Research Coordinators in the execution of study protocol tasks and responsibilities. Communicate regularly with Coordinators and Principal Investigators on progress of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain supply inventory, including ordering supplemental test articles and returning unused test articles to sponsor.

2. Assists in preparation and maintenance of regulatory documents and IRB submissions.

3. Determines visit windows from protocol, schedules subject visits and sends visit reminders. Enters information into a database.

4. Organizes and prepares study related equipment and supplies.

5. Schedules and coordinates pre-study and monitor site visits.

6. Attends and participates in Investigator and staff meetings. Assists team with specific study assignments and timelines.

7. May obtain informed consent, medical history and demographic information

8. Assists in reporting and tracking adverse events (AE). Reports serious AEs to IRB and sponsor.

9. Processes and ships lab samples according to protocol directions.

Minimum Qualifications

This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. We protect our patients, coworkers and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Preferences

Experience in healthcare working with patients, phlebotomy or laboratory sample processing.
