This is a SharePoint Developer Position designed to assist the SharePoint Manager in development activities where you will work with a team to build enterprise solutions for the U of U Health intranet. You will work with other Developers and Business Analysts to assess the needs of various business lines and develop web solutions, custom forms, work flows and applications to help optimize efficiency.
1.Experience with client side web services
2.Demonstrated high degree of initiative and self-guided work.
3.Must be willing to work diligently to meet deliverable deadlines.
4.Demonstrate strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis.
5.Follow and practice current IT policies and procedures and development methodologies
6.Work with customers and/or technical staff to resolve issues and develop solutions
7.Conduct process and requirement reviews to assure quality
8.Develop, test, implement, document and maintain business system solutions within SharePoint platforms

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of experience.
Department Specific Technical Requirements
•Extensive SharePoint related development experience
•Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code
•Experience with Git and Github a plus
•Experience integrating SharePoint with external data sources
•Ability to use create and maintain technological solutions in SharePoint that will increase the operational efficiency of business lines
•Use accepted project management, application development and documentation standards and processes
