The University of Utah College of Nursing is a community of scholars engaged in exemplary programs of funded research and distinguished scholarship. This position will support the LIFT Simulation Design Lab. The LIFT Simulation Design Lab uses experiential learning and expert facilitation to elevate team conversations, engage communities and transform systems. The LIFT Lab designs and facilitates learning experiences to uncover the causes of complex problems, and then engages healthcare teams and community members to work together to imagine solutions to those problems
The Program Manager will be responsible for facilitating communications among stakeholders and various project sites. They will assist in the financial management of the projects, prepare reports, manage IRB submissions, maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies, and assist with the preparation of manuscripts for the dissemination of study results.
This is a grant funded position that is currently funded through November 30, 2021.
This position is considered Category IIA : Not required on campus and has the ability to telework remotely for the duration of the University of Utah’s response to COVID -19. An employee hired into this role will be responsible for providing space, telephone, printing, networking and/or internet capabilities at the telecommute location and agree to the terms of the University of Utah campus and Health Academics COVID -19 Telecommuting Agreement.
1.Prepare program and financial reports for Program Directors/Principal Investigators, team partners, stakeholders and advisory board, and fulfill all reporting requirements to sponsors.
2.Work collaboratively with team members to efficiently complete prioritized tasks.
3.Draft curriculum, manuals and manuscripts.
4.Attend webinars, training sessions, and project meetings as required by the Program Directors/Principal Investigators.
5.Maintain professional working relationships with various stakeholders both internal and external to the College of Nursing in order to obtain data and statistics required for the studies.
6.Keep the project and its partners on schedule for program deliverables. Track goals, key dates, timelines, and coordinate project activities to assure all deadlines are met timely.
7.Coordinate the day to day administrative functions of all programs.
8.Coordinate external contractors.
9.Ensure IRB compliance.
10.Purchase equipment, supplies, and arrange travel for personnel as assigned.
11.Prioritize workload with minimal supervision in order to manage competing deadlines.
12.Must be able to work as an integral team member.
13.Maintain a flexible schedule to be available to international partners.
14.Occasional travel to rural clinical sites and potential international travel.
15.Complete all other duties as assigned.
