Provides support and assists with the coordination and implementation of School of Medicine Curriculum programs.
1.Assists with Curriculum program planning and implementation, including posting student information and session materials on Canvas site, setting up team and case-based learning sessions and checklists, monitoring testing sign-in and proctoring exams as needed.
2.Electronically files program materials and readings.
3.Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals; provides administrative support to Associate Dean and Director of Curriculum; coordinates meetings by scheduling rooms, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
4.Creates group photo rosters and provides student composites to Course Directors; communicates information to course coordinators as needed.
5.Provides support for Pathways and Layers of Medicine sessions, including posting of sessions, assignments, test questions, and readings to Canvas; adds students to Canvas and assigns facilitator sections as required; provides assistance for Fall Presentations.
6.Reviews Electives spreadsheets weekly and communicates information to course coordinators.
7.Performs other duties as assigned.
Incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the department’s policies and procedures and have working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors. Incumbents are also expected to demonstrate sensitivity to others’ needs while being understanding and helpful on the job.

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) required. Two years of related experience, ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks, expertise using MS Office software, and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Database experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be preferred.
