Job Summary
A full-time postdoctoral position is available in the Heys Laboratory in the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah. Our research program is focused on the neural circuit, cellular and sub-cellular mechanisms of spatial and temporal learning and memory. We use cutting edge multi-photon in vivo imaging techniques to monitor and manipulate populations of neurons, dendrites and synaptic spines during memory-guided behavior in mice. (see. Heys et al. 2014; Heys and Dombeck, 2018)

Preferences
Qualified applicants should have a PhD in neuroscience, biology, psychology or a related field. Candidates with experience using in vivo imaging and/or electrophysiological methods are encouraged to apply. Strong computational skills and expertise inMATLABand/or Python are highly desirable.
