Dr. Yufeng Huang and Dr. Srinivasan Beddhu’s Laboratory in University of Utah School of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension is seeking for Research postdoctoral fellows to conduct research in clinical samples and basic animal kidney disease models.
The successful candidate will integrate current skills and knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry into research on mechanisms and intervention of kidney disease. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work well in a team-based/collaborative research atmosphere are essential. The position is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Salary& Benefit: salary at the rate of $40,000-$44,000/year. In addition, the medical insurance and a stipend for attending the annual academic meeting each year will be provided.

A Ph.D. in molecular biology or biochemistry is appreciated, with experience in protein analysis methods, including protein extraction and western blotting and ELISA assay; RNA analysis methods, including real time PCR , RNA array or RNA seq; cell culture and animal models.
