Job Summary

Immediate vacancy for a postdoctoral research associate to conduct cardiac arrhythmia research with the Dosdall Lab at the Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute (CVRTI) at the University of Utah. The candidate will work on anNIH-funded, translational research project seeking to improve medical device technology. The candidate will work under the mentorship of Derek Dosdall, PhD.


The candidate must be a self-motivated problem solver capable of independent work with excellent communication and writing skills. The successful candidate will be expected to be involved with hardware and software development as well as with experimental animal research.

Minimum Qualifications


Candidates will be evaluated on research experience and expertise. The candidate should have a PhD, MD, or equivalent doctorate with preference given to individuals with experience conducting cardiovascular experimental research.

Experience with data analysis software such as Matlab and/or Labview as well as statistical analysis is preferred.
