Job Summary

Research Polysomnographic Technician (For Setup ofPSGwithin the Intensive Care Unit)

Sets up portable polysomnographic (PSG) studies in the intensive care unit on intensive care unit patients. Participates actively in sleep research study.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1) Setup limited or fullPSGon patients within theICU.

2) Setup researchEEGdevice on patients in theICUsimultaneously toPSGleads.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of a Polysomnography program associated with a state licensed or a nationally accredited educational facility or a minimum of six months experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required.
