Job Summary

Continuing Education is seeking a Philosophy 3640 (World Religions) instructor to teach Fall Semester 2015 which runs from August 24 – December 18, 2015. Class will be held at the Bountiful campus located at 75 East 200 South, Bountiful, Utah. This is an academic class which meets Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:45pm. This is a one semester assignment with possible work in future semesters as needed.


1.creating a class syllabus

2.preparing for each class session

3.teaching each class session quizzes and tests, including a final exam

5.assigning grades to each student

Minimum Qualifications


A master’s degree in Philosophy and previous teaching experience is required. PhD in Philosophy preferred. A willingness to work with current instructor to use same or very similar syllabus, content, and grading methods.
