University of Utah Health Pharmacy Systems Analyst II- Hybrid/Remote Opportunity in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The incumbent is responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop and modify moderately complex information systems. It also supports a variety of departmental clinical applications as well as interfacing between broad spectrum of hospital systems. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.

  • Performs system build and testing for software lifecycle activities. Ensures quality outcomes and assesses integrated impact.

  • Resolves incidents and work orders work according to agreed upon OLA's and assigned timelines. Completes project tasks on time with quality outcomes.

  • Maintains and creates documentation as needed. Acts as a resource to end users and team members with regard to application utilization in context with workflow.

  • Designs and executes test scripts, including unit, application and integrated test scripts.

  • Works with training staff and the instructional designer to guide the build and implementation of training tips and lesson plans to support features and optimization of the system.

  • Researches and analyzes new feature requests. Completes system build and testing as defined. Participates in stakeholder review, implementation documentation and communication planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform application build and testing for assigned applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Utah.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and two years of information technology experience or Associate's degree in a health related field and six years of information technology experience.

  • Become Epic Certified within six months of hire
