This is an incredible opportunity to join a collegial academic environment and work in a children’s hospital ranked as one of the best in the US. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Nephrologist. The provider will care for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of kidney disorders, including those patients on dialysis and with kidney transplants in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The provider must be capable of performing procedures including hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, peritoneal dialysis, therapeutic plasma exchange, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and kidney biopsy with sedation. Clinical activities will be carried out at Primary Children’s Hospital ( PCH ) on the University and Riverton campuses, as well as University of Utah Hospital and Clinics, with the potential for outreach clinics in the future. In addition to clinical service, there is an expectation for academic work, including education, investigation, administration/service, as well as advocacy.
Qualified candidates must be Board Qualified/Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology, and must possess excellent procedural and clinical skills. The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment on the Clinical or Tenure track in the Department of Pediatrics at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
