Job Summary
This employee will assist in all aspects of the International Pathway Program. This employee will be trained to evaluate applications, academic transcripts and documents for I-20 certificate of eligibility. The employee will also assist in creating I-20 certificate of eligibility for issuance of an F-1 student visa and entering data into computerized student information systems. This employee will also correspond with students to answer questions relating to admission policy and visa related issues.

Responsibilities
Provides policy interpretation for students regarding processing academic-related paperwork, and university procedures. Reviews students’ applications for admission into academic programs, or other academic applications, to insure the paperwork is complete and accurate. Depending on the academic area, this position may provide guidance for students regarding different types of program areas being offered, or other areas related to academic services. Monitors students’ academic files to insure information is complete and updated by filling in information and changing records when applicable. Prepares paperwork for Student Services and maintains daily records and reports pertaining to specific academic areas.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of general office experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), one of which in an academic setting; and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required. College coursework in a related area is preferred.
