Greets and assists visitors in person or over the telephone. Provides general office support.
1. Receives, greets and directs visitors to appropriate person or office.
2. Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers to the correct person or office.
3. Processes and distributes mail and packages.
4. Schedules appointments and arranges for meetings.
5. Answers questions about the organization and associated activities.
6. Manages lost and found.
7. Manages checkout of basic classroom equipment.
8. Performs regular campus errands.
9. Creates and maintains an environment of professionalism.
10. Ensures all who interact with the front desk have been provided incredible customer service.
The incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the department’s policies and procedures and are required to have a working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors.

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
