Assists the program director with logistical, website, and social media support for the African American Doctoral Scholars Initiative (AADSI), the Black Cultural Center (BCC), and the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA).
1. Works with program director to determine curricular, workshop or event needs.
2. Works independently to schedule logistical arrangements forAADSI,BCC, andBGSAworkshops and events.
3. Works with program director to update theAADSIandBGSAwebsites and social media.
4. Works withOEDwebsite developer to assist program director with initialBCCwebsite content and social media.
5. Sends emails to faculty, students, and staff on behalf of the program director.
6. Schedules appointments and arranges for meetings, as needed.
7. Answers questions about the organization and associated activities, as needed.
8. Meets regularly with program director to ensure tasks are understood and being accomplished.
9. Keeps program director updated regarding task completion.

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

Must be approved for work study funding.
Must have working knowledge about how to update websites. Demonstrated organizational, technical and effective communication skills required. Ability to self-motivate and work independently are required.
