Job Summary

The applicant must be a student currently enrolled University of Utah with an accepted Work-Study Financial Aid award for the 2017-2018 school year. Work-Study award status may be viewed through CIS on the Financial Aid Status page.

Assist Patient Service Coordinator with data entry, task tracking and spreadsheet updates.


Reviews paperwork, basic data entry, creates and maintains tracking systems. Gathers and assembles data for reports.

Assist with coordination of outreach and teaching activities including development and transportation of materials and other logistical support. These events may occur in the evenings and weekends. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.


One year of experience doing tasks that require high levels of accuracy preferred.

Keen attention to detail. A brief test will be given to evaluate the applicant’s ability to review documents for completeness and accuracy.Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with Epic EHR preferred.
