Position Summary: The University of Utah College of Nursing seeks applicants for a mid-career or senior scientist (tenure-line) faculty position. We seek innovative scholars, particularly diverse scholars, with nationally and internationally recognized and extramurally-funded programs of research, to enhance and expand our high priority research programs in the areas of health equity, social determinants of health and/or chronic)/serious illness(es); women’s health, gerontology, and caregiving research; as well as informatics, clinical and translational research. Principal Functions and Responsibilities: Faculty in the tenure-line engage in independent and team- based research in their area of concentration. Opportunities for teaching in the doctoral, post- doctoral or other programs are matched to the candidate’s expertise.

Criteria: Candidates must have an earned research doctorate in nursing or a related field. Candidates should have evidence of R01 or equivalent level funding, strong record of scholarship, and evidence of diverse mentorship (e.g., grad, postdoc, junior faculty). Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
