Job Summary

PIVOT Center seeks a qualified intern to join our marcom (marketing communications) team. Our team serves as the guardians and champions of the PIVOT Center brand, reputation and mission. We are responsible for office, cross-campus and external communications for PIVOT Center, including but not limited to: branding, news, programing, events, marketing materials (newsletters, emails, videos, white papers, reports, PowerPoint presentations), social media, reporting, website, media relations, etc.

The Marketing & Events intern will assist on various projects related to PIVOT Center’s events and programming, marketing, communications, and event logistics as well as supporting the Marketing and Communications team. The position requires students to work no more than 19 hours per week with pay starting at $15.00/hr. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing, communications, journalism and media relations.

  • Email marketing and events software (Marketing Cloud, Evite, WordPress)

  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
