Job Summary

Perform light maintenance in mechanical spaces and provide flex custodial coverage where needed throughout the district.

Responsibilities

1.Clean and Maintain Mechanical spaces.

2.Prep and paint mechanical room floors.

3.Follows Supervisor’s instructions to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.

4.Performs planned maintenance within various facilities.

5.Assists in maintaining tools and equipment.

6.Cleans offices, restrooms, concourse areas using vacuums, buffers, mops, scrubbers, chemicals, cleaners, etc.

7.Transports supplies and equipment as needed.

8.Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Six months experience required, one year experience preferred. The ability to perform heavy lifting and stooping; the ability to use a variety of equipment; a commitment to providing excellent customer service; and a valid driver’s license also required. Experience may be in custodial or grounds maintenance depending upon area of assignment.
