Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies

The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah and the Huntsman Cancer Institute ( HCI ) is seeking to recruit faculty with an interest in lymphoma and/or chronic lymphocytic leukemia. We are looking for a physician or physician-scientist with a dedication to clinical or clinical-translational research in an academic environment, a commitment to excellence and the desire to grow in a collegial team.

Our growing Lymphoma Program serves as a tertiary referral center for lymphoma patients in the Intermountain Region of the US. The Program has a strong focus on genetic, clinical and translational research, including the development of innovative approaches such as targeted and immunotherapies.

The University of Utah and the HCI , the only NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Intermountain West, provide an outstanding environment for clinical, translational and basic research. We are a member institution of the elite National Comprehensive Cancer Network. State of the art resources are available on site from world-class transgenic and cellular therapy facilities, genome-wide scanning technologies, drug development platforms, pharmacology and toxicology. The scientific environment in the Division and the wider University is vibrant and extremely collaborative.

The successful candidate will hold M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degrees and will be board-certified or board eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology, and eligible for a Utah Medical License. Prior experience and training will ideally reflect a strong clinical and/or research interest in lymphoma, clinical excellence and a career in an academic environment. We are committed to fostering a stimulating and collegial work place and providing strong mentorship. Startup and compensation packages are competitive.
