Job Summary

Performs information systems support and development in three or more functional areas, including but not limited to data control, applications training, data coordination and scheduling, data security administration, IT project coordination, web/software development, etc.


•Coordinate security, access, and permissions for Learning Management System (LMS) use

•Provide level 3 systems support (highest level of support provided at the University)

•Monitor and maintain the operation ofLMSand supporting applications to ensure consistent and reliable flow of service

•Provide reporting to leadership as requested

•Participate inLMSadministration calls

•Implement and manage integrations withinLMS

•Assist with setup, management, testing, and troubleshooting of department support systems; including vendor communication.

•Assist with managing UOnline Exam Center software and hardware configurations

•Supports the exam center including proctoring and processing students

•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within areas of specialty.

•Strong written and communication skills

•Ability to work well with vendors

•Ability to solve customer technical issues in a timely and professional manner

•Microsoft Office Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

•Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments

•Ability to work effectively within deadlines

•Familiarity withCSS,HTML, Scripting,XML, and other web technologies

•Project Management experience a plus


•Prefer: 2-3 years of experience withLMSsupport in higher education
