Overview:
This position is responsible for designing and implementing programs within a department to support and further the educational mission of the department, including assessment and improvement of program processes.
The incumbent develops and communicates processes for both internal departments and external organizations and individuals.
This position assists with budgets, administration, and reporting relative to implemented programs.
The incumbent may be responsible for training other employees.
This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Responsibilities
Coordinates curriculum design, development, and delivery for educational programs.
Conducts reviews of training program(s) to identify areas for improvement, and initiates appropriate changes.
Maintains and analyzes data pertaining to program participants and efficacy.
Establishes or maintains budgets; monitors and approves related expenditures and ensures budget goals are met.
Acts as department liaison to program participants, community members and/or external organizations.
May plan and coordinate outreach publicity activities by determining priorities, preparing a business plan, coordinating advertising materials, and/or marketing programs to individuals and organizations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
Must be able to provide independent oversight and decision making for activities related to department programs, within the program policy and procedure guidelines.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency.
Two years of related experience.
