Job Summary

The College of Nursing is in need of a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for anNIH-funded study that utilizes a video-conference intervention (VCI) to engage women in a facilitated group approach to reducing perinatal depressive symptoms (PDS).

The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing, pre-medicine, psychology, biology or other medically-related fields. The ideal candidate will also speak Spanish and be engaged in the Latino community.

TheGRAwill undergo training in human subjects research and interact directly with study participants (including recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up). They will also provide support to clinical sites and assist the project team in making posters and data display for manuscripts. They will attend all team meetings.

Responsibilities

2. Provide support to clinical sites across rural Utah

3. Assist with administering and troubleshooting the Utah Telehealth Network video-conferencing platform

4. Monitor participant engagement and REDCap survey completion

5. Assist with data reports and analysis

6. Assist with the creation of presentation materials, manuscripts, etc.

7. Attend all team meetings

8. Occasional travel to rural clinical sites

9. Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in nursing, pre-medicine, psychology, biology or other medically-related field

Experience with REDCap

Experience with telehealth

Preferences

Fluency in Spanish

Engaged in Latino community
