Job Summary

The Graduate Assistant will work on a qualitative study interviewing patients with heart failure in their homes after hospital discharge.

Study participants will be asked about their symptoms. The Graduate Assistant will assist with participant recruitment, conducting the interviews, data management, and qualitative data analysis.

Responsibilities

Recruit participants with flyers at recruitment sites.

Obtain signed consent forms.

Interview study participants in their homes.

Upload and manage data using predetermined software.

Qualitative data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

Health sciences graduate student with experience in qualitative research.

Good communication skills with older adults.

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferences

Certification in Good Clinical Practice andHIPPAcompliance is preferred.
