Job Summary

TheGISSystem Administrator/Team Lead will also collaborate with various IT professionals in order to design, implement, and maintain enterpriseGISsystems and solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with various IT professionals to proactively maintain productionGISsystem consisting Windows servers, Linux servers, network load balancers, and various databases in order to deliver high qualityGISproducts and services to customers. Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues. Administer all aspects of ArcGIS Server, Portal, ArcGIS Online including performance monitoring and tuning, service configuration, security, licensing. Administer Enterprise Geodatabase. Administer ArcGIS concurrent use license servers. Support and mentorGISprofessionals working in various departments at the university.

Maintain virtual servers and applications in production, staging and test environments. Vet and apply operating system security patches, maintainSSLCertificates, assess, implement and troubleshoot various server solutions such as multi-server file replication, etc. Apply application patches and service packs as necessary. Implement and maintain solutions that improve our ability to continually deliver high quality applications to customers. Design, and implement EnterpriseGISSystem that continues to meet customer demand over time as technology improves.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related area, or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). 2-5 years of programmer/analyst or related experience.
