La Maison des Enfants, a French Immersion Preschool/Kindergarten for children ages 3 to 6 years old, located on the campus of the University of Utah in the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts & Education Complex, as part of Tanner Dance, is seeking an Assistant teacher for the 2021-22 school year.
All candidates must be fluent in French. Native French speakers preferred.
Together with the principal teacher in the class, the assistant teacher will be teaching the children, and will be responsible for preparing the classroom materials, working with the children during centers, helping them with eating, taking them to the bathroom, and organizing and cleaning up the classroom. The position will be working with all three age levels.
The ideal candidate should be creative, spontaneous, and passionate about working with young children.
Excellent contact with children and experience desired.
Salary: hourly, commensurate with experience
School year dates: August 31, 2021 through June 3, 2022
This position is considered Category IIA : Not required on campus and has the ability to telework remotely for the duration of the University of Utah’s response to COVID -19.
