Family Medicine Physician Faculty
We invite you to join the multidisciplinary faculty of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of Utah. We are expanding our clinical and educational programs in the Division of Family Medicine. This position involves direct patient care in our family medicine outpatient clinics. You will be joining a strong family medicine faculty group and have opportunities for teaching family medicine residents, medical students, and other health science trainees.
1.Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine
2.Unrestricted Utah State medical license
3.Experience in clinical medicine, teaching and scholarship is preferred.
•0.8-0.9 – Clinical care and resident precepting
•0.1-0.2 – Education and scholarship
oTeaching in didactic and small group formats
oMentorship and evaluation of residents
Obstetrics practice is encouraged with this position. Clinical resources include:
•In-house back up from the University of Utah Department of OB-GYN
•Manageable call schedules
•Favorable malpractice environment
